Nice place with competent and sympatic staff

Oh wow this place is a gem! The place is clean organized and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Popped in for some quick additions to our class room fish tank. Was in and out within 15 minutes with 4 assassin snails, 6 black neon tetra and 4 neon tetra to add to our current school. The kids were over joked and spent the majority of the day sitting in front of the 20 gal admiring our new pets.

Is it THE BEST pet store? Maybe, maybe not. But they gotta be at least second best, because I have never been in one better.While they may not have that thing you ordered online last week after hearing about it on a forum, they do eventually catch on to new developments and trends. Pretty much anything can be found here from low-end beginner items to the high-end equivalent. Staff are experienced for the most part, and some are outright nerds in the their specificity. Prices are competitive with the big box stores, and the selection is amazing. Worth stopping by for just for a peek at critters… just don’t be surprised when you leave with one.

They have crickets. You can reserve things in the shop. Good service

I was referred here by the landscaping company that installed my pond. I called today at 3 and spoke to a man named Bill. He was nice. He stated I needed to let him know the temperature of my Koi pond to make sure it matches his. No big deal. I told him I would be driving an hour to come buy some Koi fish and would be there around 6:15... Bill said “no problem we will be here” . I was just about to make the long drive, but thank god I called first at 5:30, because apparently they are closed (nobody is answering the phone)! And don’t do an owner reply like u have to others that I cannot afford your Koi, I have over 7 figures in the bank. What a shame.

It's our go to place for our koi fish pond needs. The staff is very knowledgeable. In addition to food, fishes and products they also have pipes, tubing and a great selection of connectors.If you're in the Ottawa region and have a pond it's an address to bookmark.

Small shop, easy to miss if you're going too fast, but the location on maps is accurate! When I was there they had the most beautiful betta I've ever seen and I've still been regretting not buying him. I saw a few kinds of tropical fish I hadn't seen before, and I especially appreciated that they have a few different sizes of angels available.

Excellent attention. All animals are very well cared for. We ate an oez betta and I had problems with my card. I went back the next day for the fish and found it with a sold sign: they were waiting for him to come back for it. Thank you very much for such a nice detail.

One of the best pet stores I've been too. Everyone in there is very friendly and super knowledgeable. They have lots of great stock for anything you could basically need. Also worth mentioning, Phil and his staff are great at problem solving. I purchased a fish tank from there and the light ended up being defective. This was a super easy fix and with no hassle. I was very thankful that for that. I can't recommend this store enough!!
